Speaking + Media.
I speak and write about the night – how it is experienced, managed, and increasingly valued as a tourism, environmental, and cultural asset.
My work spans television, radio, festivals, conferences, and cultural programs, focusing on how the night shapes place and how it can be used more effectively across tourism, policy, and public engagement.
“Stories that bring the night to life – driven by passion, grounded in education.”
Speaking
Speaking engagements range from keynote presentations and industry forums to panel discussions and public programs. Recent presentations include the Design Festival, National National Australian Convention of Amateur and Rotary Division forums, alongside festival and community events.
Audiences include tourism and destination organisations, government and industry, festivals, and community groups. Each engagement is tailored to the context and audience.
Writing
This work is supported by ongoing writing and media contributions, including essays and commentary. An upcoming book on night-time tourism and the role of darkness in place will be released in October.
My focus is on making the night relevant and actionable – grounded in real places and practical decision-making.
If you are planning an event, program, or publication and would like to include a perspective on night-time tourism or dark sky work, please get in touch.
